HOTEL for the Hill Country Galleria?
City of Bee Caves has approved an impervious cover change request from the Hill Country Galleria on August 14th – which spokesman Adrian Overstreet states
paves the way for a Hotel there. We’ll watch and see what developes but plans from the original owner of the HCG called for a hotel there but was later cut due to protests from local residents about the massive size of the entire project.
NEW concept hotel planned at the Lakeway Regional Hospital
Lakeway Regional Medical Center developers working with Dallas based partners are building an $11 million 125 room hybrid La Quinta property on the “campus”.
Combining regular hotel rooms with extended stay facilities for families whose relatives are in the hospital is a new concept for the hotel chain. The 68,000 sq ft property will break ground this fall and is planned to open next summer (2013).
